I was in Ireland last week Len. Not much duck on the menu there. Although I did see Jamie Heaslip at a restaurant and a massive fuss being made of some MMA fighter called Connor McGregor. Just can't get into MMA, despite the best fights possible being made regularly
Why didn't you look me up? Don't let that happen again! Next time you have the misfortune to be in Ireland let's meet up if you have the time. Seriously. I think you can send some sort of private personal message via this forum....at least I got one the other day from a guy which I tried...hopefully successfully ....to reply to. I promise to try and make your stay a bit more pleasant, and I swear I will keep the pro-Sturm brainwashing to a minimum. Agree with you about MMA ....it's a bit like non-alcoholic beer for me. Although some credit seems to be due to Mcgregor, he really seems to have worked very hard to get where he is and looks to be a very hard trainer.
Haha. Will do next time. I was visiting a few friends in Dublin. Obnoxious American tourists aside I had a pretty good time. Someone also claimed to me that mcgregor was an Irish amatuer champ as a junior boxer. True? John joe Nevin didn't really set the world alight the other day either did he?
Don't know about McGregor as an amateur boxer. I don't really follow the am scene (I know, I know!). Sorry I can't be of more help. When a guy is featured more in the "celebrity" pages than the sports pages it tends to turn me off a bit. You may know about Kenneth Egan? Early days for Nevin. He is not a big puncher so there will be few spectacular headline grabbing highlight reel type knockouts I'm afraid! But good judges really rate him and he could be a success. time will tell. Dublin is alright..people very nice and all..well most of them anyway....lived there when I was younger.. but you need to get outside Dublin to see the real Ireland!
Solis is such a lazy lard ass. how does one still weigh that much when his only job in life is to be in shape? he must not any true cardio and just eat whatever. with that said, he still beats Thompsons slow old ass
