Man, you gotta give Pac all the props in the world. Clottey is a top notch WW, who definitely can hang around the top guys in the WW division pre-Pac. For Pac to shut him down really showshow special he is.

I always hate hearing this. No you couldn't. A middleweight marine watched barrera pac one with me and said, I could beat Barrera, he sucks. I being a one hundred twenty eight pound amateur, said, no way. Marco beats me in a round and Ill show you something. So i beat the hell out of him. There is a guy at the gym who regularly spars two or three guys at a time to train. He can't last three rounds against Derrick Harmon, who was described in a magazine as "harmless" after his fight with roy jones. These guys are the best in the world and clottey is strong. Clottey is a monster, but slow. Just too slow for pac.
clottey was tough but flawed. if you watch him against margo and cotto you would see this. two fights in which he had a chance to win but blew it because he like to go into a shell and handcuff himself. there was no way he was going to beat pac, man boxer who is on higher level then both those two. the clottey fight only proved that he had no business to be in the same ring as pacquiao and that the only fighter who has the realistic chance of beating pacquiao is the winner of pbf-mosley.
