Floyd did enough to win without taking any unnecessary risks. Floyd always plays it safe, that is why at his age he still is fairly fresh with out much damage.

    Hey Mancat...
I didn't understand what you were referring to as far as saying those were racist comments, since I didn't really see nothing racist.
So I went to that Castefootball site, and Sheeesh, that is some unbelievable **** that is put up there... but I couldn't find anything about the Mayweather vs Canelo fight. It just got too sickening and gave up the search.
    Really pathetic ****!

*****s brags about his performance like its a repetition of the Baldomir fight. Jesus Christ one judge had it a draw the other 8-4 and 9-3. It wasn't a fokking shutout so fokking puhhhleaze shut the fokk up!

In the 5th round at the 1:32 sec. mark, Alvarez pinned Mayweather's left arm between his own left arm and his torso during an exchange against the ropes, and it appeared that Alvarez turned his body towards Mayweather's back and slightly hyper-extended Mayweather's arm at the elbow. And to my eyes it did look intentional, because Mayweather slapped at Alvarez's back to sort of signal "let go" but he didn't until he saw the ref coming in.

You know I think floyd did carry him or either was just being too careful to not get hit and mixed up in any exchanges..

Hahaha... are you really saying that the Draw was a just Judgement?

    9-3 is a good judgement call, But I wouldn't argue with a 10-2.

To follow up to what I stated earlier, Alvarez did land a lot of shots to Mayweather's left arm in an attempt to go to the body, and this could have had something to do with it also.

I didn't think about that! I did notice Floyd did take a lot of hard shots on that arm as he used to defend the body. Remember Canelo's sparring Partners talking about how their arms were hurting from protecting their body from Canelo's shot?

saw Floyd Thursday and took pics with him. He was mad relaxed, upbeat, and confident. You could tell he had no worries.

I think he fought great but obviously still respected Canelo's size, strength, & power

not racist i explained myself before, i felt like i was watching slap boxing. i prefer to see fights where a boxer knocks the other guy down or out, cuts him, wobbles him etc etc. floyd marked up canelos eye a little but thats it. danny garcia and mattysshe put on a better show than mayweather canelo IMO. danny busted up mattysshe, knocked him down and showed great defense, when floyd fought at lighter weights he put on a better show.

Yes I do remember hearing those reports from Alvarez's training camp, and I certainly think it was part of Alvarez's stategy. I've hear other people say fighters should try to punch Mayweather's lead shoulder and maybe that will loosen up his defense, but in this case it appeared Alvarez was aiming more for the elbow and forearm area. Whatever his strategy was it didn't work. I was a little surprised that for the most part he tried to outbox Mayweather.

Thought he fought great as well, just thought he could have gone after Alvarez a little more. Once it was obviously apparent the difference in speed and skill was a country mile, it would have been nice to see Mayweather be a little more offensive. This may sound crazy but I actually believe Mayweather was too respectful of Alvarez's size and str

i still dont understand this phantom canelo power that people refer to here.

four legit jmws came to fight(rhodes, mosley, trout, floyd) and all four made it to the 12th round with this peceived wrecking machine. and it will be five once carlos molina does not get knocked out (im guessing canleo will be a +600 to ko carlos).

ffs, i never thought vargas was a wrecking machine and he at least ko'd marquez and yory boy.

canelo...hes dont nothing to warrant such praise.

james kirkland has done far more.

all i saw saturday night was a champion boxer sparring and getting some work in with a prospect.
