I don't think the top 4 are that far ahead of the others as people think. I just mentioned them I mean Chisora's performance against Usyk is now aging very well. Chisora's fights against a lot of guys are aging well. I watched Joyce/Usyk yesterday and it was good, Joyce has improved a lot since then. And you have quite few guys that have troubled Joshua. Quite a few guys have troubled Wilder (before the stoppages) and quite a few guys have shown Fury's vulnerabilities. And quite a few of these guys haven't even been in the top 10.
I honestly can’t get my head around people saying they don’t want to see it. It’s baffling. If it’s such an easy fight for Fury he should take it and earn a boat load of money.
If we haven’t been able to get these prima donnas in the ring together by now then we never will mate.
I hope we get this fight. We need to see Fury show his skill set against top competition before he retires. I reckon the beat down he gives AJ will be entertaining. AJ's got the plumber from liverpool thing about him, vulnerable and exciting.
If Fury takes care of business there is an obvious fight there to make. I'd like to see how high and mighty AJ/Hearn are now that the boot is on the other foot. They will take step aside and let us all have undisputed right?
Hasn't Fury already made excuses not to fight Usyk? He said no-one can live with him in the division, well to be honest that's complete nonsense now, we know it would be worthwhile to see him fight Usyk. If he's a man of his word and he'll "fight any man, any time, any place" then he won't duck Usyk. I just feel we will get a barrage of excuses not to fight him. Everyone wants to see Fury vs Usyk, and I think it will be Fury's most difficult opponent, so if he doesn't fight him before he retires that will be really disappointing
Yeah that comment reeked of BS. Luckily Tyson flip flops and isn't consistent on anything, so hopefully now the landscape has changed he actually decides fighting Usyk is a good idea. Let's be honest it would attract huge interest just by being a "pure boxing" exhibition, so I'd imagine it will be a big pay day, especially if they do it in the US. Would love to see a fight of that calibre in the Garden
I don't think it did. Besides Wilder, Tyson hasn't fought anyone of note since Wlad. He loves low-risk fights.
Maybe in another couple years Joshua takes the small cut. Or maybe they both end up needing it down the line. Tough to say with Fury though, who barely fights and is a head case.
You're spot on about the smaller cut. No way does Joshua (without belts) deserve 50-50 against Tyson Fury. The cut should be 60-40 in Tyson's favour.
