I'd had a few beers so recollection isn't great but what the **** was going on in that corner after the fight? Serious red flags...
I hope you're wrong but you may well be right My thinking was that since Fury's evolution into a pressure fighter for Wilder II, he obviously hasn't fought. I thought the version of Fury I saw that night was unreal, I think he could beat anyone out there and these next few years would be the best of his career and he would be confident in taking on all the big fights. The delay has been frustrating, but there's no reason why he can't continue where he left off and end up fighting all the big names before his retirement. There's no reason to fight any low-level/low-risk fighters now, he should just be taking the big names I think he probably only needs to fight Joshua once now, two seems excessive if Fury beats him comfortably. I'd rather see multiple fights with Usyk, as those two would put on a show
Joshua vs Fury would be an embarrassment. Fury would play with AJ and implore the ref to stop the fight with the punishment he was dishing out.
He obviously lost faith in Rob Mc to bring those random dudes in. And Rob Mc was silently broken hearted, not at his best because of that. Shambles. that’s the truth
We wont get Wilder vs AJ because Wilder wont get his ***** ass outside of the US, and no way is Hearn gonna let AJ fight in US.
It means we'll get to see the best against the best - Usyk v Fury. As a boxing fan I want to see the best fight the best. I'm sure if Fury wins, he'll fight Joshua anyway.
So get Fury v Wilder out of the way and providing Fury does the job again it sets up a potentially brilliant fight between him and Usyk. I'd go with Usyk, they're both brilliant boxers but Fury has lapses in concentration, does stupid things from time to time whereas Usyk is straight up focused and relentless at what he does, seemingly fully aware of what a slip up could lead to.
It's what he does though. I'm not hating on him, but just stating a fact. He's thought another champ/top 3 guy three times in a row now, so you watch him have a few easy fights after this. Plus he won't give Hearn the payday. People haven't clocked that, but it's true.
Yeah Joshua vs Fury seems more boring to me now. It's just an obvious/easy Fury win, the excitement for that has completely deflated. Usyk vs Fury is the fight for the ages now
