Close, competitive fight. If you are going to claim Tua got robbed, then you are the one who never saw the fight. The point remains that if you slug it out with Ibeabuchi and it's close, what chance do you have against the likes of Frazier?

When did I say there were similarities between there styles? The point I'm making is that Tua was completely lacking in technical ability overall compared to somebody like Frazier, who is woefully under-rated in skill terms.

And? So his punch resistance declined significantly by that point did it? If Barrett and Rahman can drop Tua, Frazier can drop and hurt Tua. Remind me when Tua's prime was exactly. The guy didn't even have a prime.

How exactly is Tua going to beat Frazier? Enlighten me. Frazier is woefully under-rated in terms of his overall skill. He has superior punch placement to Tua, his timing is better, he's got a better jab than Tua, his body work is better than Tua's, his range control and judge of distance is better than Tua's. Defensively, he's harder to hit clean than Tua.

In terms of physical strength he's under-rated. When was Frazier ever really beaten for physical strength, other than against probably the strongest heavyweight of all time physically in George Foreman? A prime Tua has got 15/20lbs on a prime Frazier, but Frazier hadn't people like he was 15/20lbs bigger. He's not going to get backed up on the basis of a lack of physical strength.

What's more, he's got a vastly under-rated chin. Look at some of the punches he took from Foreman in Kingston, yes he got destroyed, but Foreman landed some hard, clean shots, sometimes 2 or 3, and Frazier stayed up at times before others put him on the canvas.

He has a height and reach advantage aswell, for what it's worth. And it could be worth a lot because Frazier could actually box from the outside. Not on the backfoot, but he could hook from the outside and land it and jab from the outside on his way in. If Tua tries to trade left-hooks all night with a prime Frazier, he's going to end up on his back.

p4p i think i believe this. could you imagine rjj-ali? ali wasnt a big heavyweight and by todays' standards was a flat out small one early in his career. no way in anyones imagination rjj ko's ali or probably even knocks him down but I honestly think prime for prime he could outpoint him. in his prime Jones was basically unhittable.
