I think many boxing 'historians' have the most prestigious divisions as heavyweight, middleweight, and welterweight. For their history, I'm assuming.

I don't necessarily agree with that, but I think if you talk to many fighters and coaches and ask about 'boxings most prestigious divisions' you will find those to be the most commonly named, due to their various golden ages, their lineages, and numerous greats that have fought there.

Again, I don't necessarily agree with that.

Ehs a pretty cool dude. Lots of people just like to hate what's popular. That's why we had emos and goths in high school.

    haha:facepalm:

Lemmy and Martin were both paper champs. Wade is an unranked nobody.

Lemmy beat a solid contender to win his title, and beat half a dozen ranked contenders to get a title shot unlike Martin the same number for whom is "0".

Wade and Martin are unranked nobodies who got their title shots due to injuries and corruption without ever having to fight in a 12 rounder to earn it.

Martin beat a solid contender. Wade beat nobodies and is a nobody. He's not even a contender. Martin was a title holder so that means he was multiple levels above Wade.
This is basic stuff here. Even casual noobs knows know this.

You're dumber for boxing than a casual. If GGG had twisted his knee and collapsed in the ring and the ref gave it a count, Wade would've been a unified champion similar to how Martin was a title holder. Neither are legitimate contenders, neither had beaten anyone to get ranked. An injury is the only thing that seperates their careers, other than that they're on the same level.

I will this, he makes it look so easy! I love watching him box it's very interesting. I feel his ability to judge distance is heavily underrated

In that case Wade would have been levels higher than Martin. But he didn't win , he lost. Reality isn't based on parallels that didn't happen. Martin twotted Glaskov and his glass legs blew out. He was never in that fight.
There's no case for ifs and buts. This is reality here.
Martin >> Wade. This is an absolute FACT. Theres nothing you can say that will ever change it. Even debating this nonsense is beneath me.

Bull****. What happened in the Martin/Glazkov fight is called a freak accident. And feak accidents have nothing to do with skills, levels or the progress of the fight. Having held a title due to a freak accident doesn't mean ****. By your logic, Michael Bentt should be rated higher than Tua.

    Martin=Wade. Deal with it.

Not to mention the difference in Amateur accolades. And GGG has never been dropped or flatlined. We all know Wilder has

Thats the stupidest thing i ever heard. Its is one of the worst posts i have ever read in my entire life. Im embarrassed for you.

Wade's best win is a robbery against 44 year old Sollyman who never fought again. Thats it.
Go educate yourself on David Tua. Right now you are the Dom Wade of these forums.

I used your logic against you moron. You said Martin is levels above Wade just because he held a title, which is false. I'm very much familiar with Tua, and know very well he was light years better than Bentt.

True, Wade's best win is 44 year old Soliman who never fought again, and Martin's real best win is Rafael Zumbano Love who's a stepping stone for prospects with 8-10 pro fights.

No , because Glaskov is a better win than Sollyman and it as a world title fight.

Wade vs Sorryman was unranker vs unranker.

I can't be involved in this ridiculous discussion any further.

The problem is he's never actually invaded the MW fortress himself.

He's never beat the reigning champion.

That being said Canelo seems to be leaving the division and now Golovkin is facing the next best available MW so I can't expect any more than that from him.
