    I think this is a pretty competitive fight. Neither guy is all that good and both have a list of flaws so long, you could write a book about them.

    Alvarez has a weak jab and low output sometimes, but he has sharp powerful combos.

    Chavez Jr. doesn't have **** going for him.

    surprised that they are meeting so soon. I'm not a fan of either, but 'stars' willing to fight each other is a nice change of pace.

    Chavez already does cut a HELL of a lot to get to middleweight, according to the Zbik fight-night weigh-ins. Interesting match, I didn't see coming. I figured that once Chavez lost his 0, he'd be thrown to the wolves. Since that ceiling fan stopped him recently, I guess they no longer care to protect him? :conf

    War Canelo. Finally somebody is going to put Chavez Jr. out of his misery. It sucks that Martinez couldn't be the one to do it, but the result will be the same.
