All the shows boxa promotions/Khoder put on are 50$, and yes its a farkn rip off.

Claudelands Arena, Hamilton, New Zealandcommission: New Zealand Professional Boxing Associationpromoter: Tony Mundine (BOXA International)matchmaker: George Renotelevision: Australia Main Event New Zealand Sky

Promoter sets the price, not MainEvent. Ive phoned and asked them before as ive complained about the exact same thing, 29.99 for top brass sht from USA yet 50$ for this garbage? Its not main events fault price wise but they should hang their heads for hosting this crap, i guess the problem is that they are there to make money and are a bussiness like most companys, still they should know better. Only way to make them take note is dont buy it, unfortunate that the NZ public will most likely fill that void.

Well they could charge $9.95 and I still wouldn't buy it, it's the time more so than the money, I wouldn't take time away from my family and friends to watch it, I've become very discerning when it comes to watching fights.
I don't think it is a rip off, it is clearly stated that you will have to pay $49.95 to buy this fight to watch at home and it is clear what the card consists of so if you are silly enough to buy the fight then you haven't been ripped off, you are merely a sucker. I don't see the point in whingeing about it though, I will simply not buy the fight nor go to a venue (if any in Melbourne choose to waste money by showing it) to watch it.

If you're thick enough and know nothing about boxing where you would even consider wasting $50 on this sideshow then you deserve to be down $50.

I call if a fee on stupidity. A $50 fee.

Very simple to vote with your wallets guys on this garbage.

Simply refuse to pay for this farce and the dogs will no longer line their pockets. It's simply the sheer stupidity of the Australian public that pays for this ****, and allows them to continue to get away with putting on farcical promotions like this one.

I dont think the promoters are targetting or care about the boxing fans. There will probably (unfortunately) be more than enough football players who wont miss $50 coming out of their $300-$400 thousand yearly pay cheque. There will also be some footy fans who would enjoy the circus.

49.95 is touch excessive, given Main Event probably didn't pay more than 20k for rights. I doubt NZ Sky would've coughed-up more than 30k to televise it, which is all it did for Mundie's show over there, which was an absolute disaster for Choc's camp

Just a quick rought for the SBW and co bank account. If exposure and building a career were the concern they would televise is free to air or even a near reasonable price.
