not as dead as soccer in Australia though buddy. how is the A-League travelling. All those new teams, such a high demand.

Boxing in Australia is what it is, and will stay around the same levl. Never mainstream unlike soccer try to be

Settle down champ.:| I don't even follow the A-League in Australia. I don't give a **** about it. One thing is for sure though and that is that the A-League is a hell of a lot better off than Australian boxing.

Soccer is the sport with the highest participation rates in Australia. Its future is way brighter than boxing.

Soccer has certainly come a long way since 60's & 70's. I can recall those days, when it was regarded nothing more than just another wog game. I played soccer in my high school days, cos the joint was full of wogs & teach was a frigging pom.

Football (soccer) has always been at the forefront also when it comes to participation rates at junior level.
    Football & Netball always.

and they still mess up a national comp. Over investment in a game which parents get their kids to play as a safe option over getting hurt. When it comes to the crunch its a sh1tfull boring game to watch and AFL and League walk all over it. My boy will learn and enjoy combat before he ever plays a game which learning how to fake taking a strike is important.

Boxing is boxing. Its the hurt game and will never be mainstream. But fighting with a clinched fist is in all our souls. The world was build on battle. The world of boxing is a bit of a mess with all the belts. But its never been smooth sailing. In Australia boxing will carry on as is, and will ride along with MMA quite nice as boxing is a part of it - and the most natural form of it.

In all, if you want to love your wussy soccer then go to that forum. Boxing rules.

and all these ol keyboard warriors.

barry Hall anounces he is going to pro boxing. And they make a big song and dance that he will give it a real go by taking on live opposition. Yeah, easy as that hey.

Lets see who he fights in his first 10 fights. If its any tougher than Mundine's first ten.

All these keyboard and couchj warriors who have never been in a gym don't know sh1t. This guy SBW is fighting can fight. Yet ppl make our his fighting a homeless crack addict or something.

How quick people forget. Sonny Bill Williams' last opponent was a ridiculously overweight Kiwi who was off work for health reasons and living on benefits. From there anything is a step-up in opposition. I think Barry Hall will do well. Mainly because many of our heavyweights are pushovers.

    see, same ol bullsh1t

who the hell should SBW have fought early on. And this guy next up would whoop ur ass pumper. So what if hes got a losing record. The guy can fight. Who else do you expect a 4-0 part timer to fight?

And who is Hall going to fight if he says he will take no cheap joke as they call it fights, a 31-2 guy in his second fight? yeah right.

so what if they got losing records. Like I said his a 4-0 part time pro. Who else do you expect him to fight.

just everyone is always onto someone when they try and do something positive. I was so so about SBW boxing, but taking on this fight next takes some guts. He will have a boxing fight on his hands.
