Maskaev lands that uppercut it's over..also the referee better warn the guy for hitting behind the head.

That seems to be the punch he can be hurt with - the uppercut he doesn't see coming. It started it all against McCline.

As a fan of Samuel, if he gets in trouble to the extent he did against McCline with Maskaev, he will be stopped. However, I expect the younger, fresher, and stronger fighter to prevail at the Garden and do so by an impressive TKO.

Agree, that was the one thing we didn't see from Wlad was an uppercut. I don't expect Sam to beat Maskaev at all, not even by decision. Maskaev is a way better boxer.

Maskaev is definitely the more skilled and more precise fighter, but I think Peter's jab could have a lot of success here. If he wants to knock out Maskaev, he needs to use the jab like he has done recently. Double and triple it up to set up his power shots.

If Peter goes to the body like he did against Mccline, you might see Maskaev die out by the championship rounds. Peter will either knock Maskaev out in the first round or the 10th round.

What top fighter has Sam Peter knocked out for you to all say he's gonna knock Maskaev out?? The guys he knocked out were total bums. Now that he's stepped up his competition he hasnt knocked anyone out in how long?

Never come close to knocking anyone in the top 25 out ever.

It's due to the fact that Maskaev has been KO'd 5 times, so it wouldn't be too much of a surprise if it happened for a 6th time.

I think the last person he put to sleep was long in 06, not sure though. Peter is a capable power puncher who hurt and put down top fighters Toney and Wlad, Maskaev will be his next knockout victim.

When Oleg lands something big on Peters's egg chin then it's over, be it an uppercut or a big right hand.....Scam Cheater is getting KTFO.

Let's not forget Oleg's history as well...he doesn't exactly have an iron chin either
