This is incredible, I have never seen anything like this in all my time watching boxing....this is the most scandalous part and a must see...

As Danny Williams drops his opponent and then has him in huge trouble, the time keeper rings the end of the round (6) with over 1.30 left in the round!!! HALF the ****ing round still to go and they ring it off because the German is in trouble!!

    [yt]kO7EkBSnh90[/yt]

Not as disgusting but still unbelievable is round 5. The following clip is rounds 3, 4 and 5, in 5 you see Williams deducted a point for body shots. Not low blows, no complaints from the German fighter, good body shots on the ropes have the man hurt and the ref steps in and deducts a point from Williams....

Germany has hit a new low, I thought I would never see worse than Reid-Ottke for a bought off ref, but this is even more disgraceful.

Too right Strike, the fight was a disgrace and shows why german promoters need to be kicked out of boxing. They are turning this great sport into WWE type farcical entertainment.

Btw, this fight was in Spain and had a Spanish ref - and there are no good or even mediocre refs from Spain...

Thanks, my sound is broken on the computer and I was not aware that it was in Spain. Still we know who promoted it and we know it was corrupt German boxing.
There is a guy in the Euro forum actually claiming that the ref was not bias and that Williams cheated.:lol::lol::patsch:patsch

Big ****ing deal, I was shown a link to the fight, knew it was a German fighter on a German promotion, my sound doesn't work on my computer and I watched it and assumed it was in Germany.

Rather than watch the clips and comment on the worst officiating in any boxing match I have ever seen, you choose to take umbrage with my error, and the key issues of German corruption in boxing stand. I will edit the title to avoid more of this...

true, the ref was bent as **** as well..that went beyond incompetent. You could see those promoter characters at the side of the ring, applauding whenever the ref was ****ing Williams over.
The ref was even swearing in there  which is ridiculous, and he warned Williams for **** all and threatened to DQ him.

**** knows why Danny's corner didn't pull them up, especially for the half round.

another good one was that recent fight when Braithwaite upset the Cuban? boy in Germany, the ref actually helped the Cuban guy up on the first KD....pulling him up from the canvas  :patsch . How ****ing blatant can you get.

we've seen guys like Hatton get massive favours in recent times in the UK, like against Lazcano, but even that does not compare.

Okay, sorry for calling you and idiot. Look, most of these childish idiots associate corruption with German boxing (yeah, it's easy to go against them Nazi *******s, we won the war!) even if in every f* country there's corruption, biased judges and bad referees... Spain is not a great boxing nation, and the referee was simply an unqualified f* idiot, giving a standing 8 count to Airich after Williams landed a low blow is a good example as well... but this fight wasn't held in Germany at all, so shouting out an idiotic phrase like "SCANDALOUS...most corrupt officiating for Danny Williams in Germany..." ...is, sorry, simply idiotic... the only German there was Airich, who is in fact is from Kazachstan. Öner is Turkish. The ref and all the officials were Spanish.

The thread title is perfect now! :deal

But it IS a German issue. I don't blame the fighters and yes there is corruption on numerous countries but not to the level of the German promotions.
It is nothing to do with a hatred of Germany (I don't have one) or any bias, it is just well known that the promotions in Germany are terrible for fixing. Ottke was the start of it all, and the refereeing in his fight against Robin Reid was as bad as I had seen until now.

It is not just the ref in this fight, the bell is rung half way through a round when Williams is on the verge of a stoppage win, it is done right where the German promoters are sat.

It is a discredit to the German fighters who want to carve out careers without total corruption being used to help them. There are home town decisions and dodgy refs, and then there is blatant, in your face cheating. Ringing a bell with 1.30 left on the clock!

Pulling a downed opponent up to his feet so the fight can continue rather than allowing him time to take a knee. And so on.

Well yeah, Sauerland events are pretty bad at times... but you should know that the commission in the Sauerland events is not the German but the Austrian Boxing Federation... and no way, I mean NO F* WAY that the Airich-Williams situation could've happened in Germany!
