Bad officiating is one thing and yes it happens all over the world but how do you explain the promoter ringing the bell midway through round six?

Shh they want it too go just go away.

Comparing bad judging and reffing with a promoter CONTROLLING THE ENTIRE ARENA are 2 GREATLY different things.

I know your German and feel the need to defend - but this is not defendable.

It says a lot about your character if you continue to try to do so. Almost like someone trying to defend Hitler's actions... This is not just bad officiating, this is DOWNRIGHT cheating.

This is why Germany is getting attacked, because not one German poster has stood up and said "This is a disgrace and brings shame on German boxing". Not one has said that corruption needs to be dealt with. They have all responded with pathetic lines of "You see worse in the US and UK" or "It was just a bad ref".

Pathetic excuses from "fans" who are clearly quite happy to have a totally corrupt system so long as it helps their fighters.

Like I have said previously, what happened after Lewis v Holyfield 1? US TV networks called it a disgrace and a robbery, US sports pages described it as shameful and 95% of US boxing fans said it was terrible and disgusting.

There was then a criminal investigation into the result. And that was dodgy scoring. This was a ****ing promoter ringing the bell half way through a round to save his man. Even if you ignore every other act of bias in that fight, the bell ringing incident alone is the most outrageous act of cheating I have ever seen in any sport.

And have German sports networks or publications condemned it? Not that I know of. And what have German fight "fans" had to say about it online? A whole host of bias, denial, bull**** that sums them up as myopic, pig headed apologists for corruption.

Every German poster on this thread and others and every fan who accepts what happens in their country just so they can say they have a world champion is culpable for the disgusting dishonesty and outright cheating that is at German boxings core.

**** all of you and **** any support for any boxing event held in Germany.

That's because they accept it as part of HYPING fighters.

My favorite excuse was"one guy is Turkish and the other is Russian stop blaming German Boxing".Yeah they are Turkish and Russian when **** like this happens but when they win world titles they are German.

to be fair, we're talking about Konstantin Ainrich...a guy most guys including me had never heard of before the Williams fight plus look at where Öhner holds his cards (gyms, hotels and tiny sportshalls) compared to Sauerland and Universum (the biggest arenas with coverage on the 2 biggest broadcasting networks). Why would some crooked backyard alley promoter like Öhner with his no name fighters get frontline headlines in Germany with Euro 2008 just round the corner?

Still doesn't change though the fact that the things that happened on Friday were a disgrace and that Ottke under Sauerland got some shocking decisions & we heard nothing about that too.

I don't have to do it cause you did it already - problem here is that if one such blatant action happens, the whole boxing industry (and some people even attacking the country, referring to history) in Germany is getting blackmarked (btw, I just saw the live broadcast and didn't see those pictures with Öner ringing the bell until now - so I would chim in and let Öner getting fined and maybe sued).

    **** you...

you can be lucky my english is too bad...
i for my part had never said i would supprt things happened in this fight, i was sad when i had seen this fight and a was sad for both fighters becouse both of them delievered good performance, but not the ref (Alfredo Garcia Perez he's not german!!... never seen him refereeing ... semms to be an absolute noob) whos performance was far from it... besides the fight did'nt take place in germany but spain....

to stop the round about 1:30 when konstantin was nocked down was preposterous bull****...to warn danny or to subduct him points was bull**** .etc.. the whole ref perfomrance was bull****.. for me ref seems to be not even of amateur level - its just absurd ..if Airichs promoter (who's Turk from german - Arena Box-Promotion ) is behind this poor refereeing - could be, probably is, and would be defenitely a shame if so... but you just go to far...

how you can just lump all together or blame the completely german system together with sportsmen and fans etc :patsch knowing nothig about it or by judging only on this fight... there are a lot of fine boxers in europe in germany and also Airich is one of them! There are some **** promoters.. even corupt promoters in Germany maybe.. and i hate them not less then you coz they damage the boxing sport and they also let some sketchy idiots like you think the hole germany is like that, but there also some of them in us, uk an wherever... i hoped and was really glad to see the fight ending by clear stoppage... fair decision were somthing we wouldn't see - and that's definitly sad..

German promoters need to be kicked out of boxing,eh!!

You must get your head tested, mate!!

Germany is a big and lucrative market where a lot of fighters can earn a lot of bucks.

Money is the name of this game, and money can be earned in Germany. Therefore you should stay calm and not call for the fire brigade.
I am certainly no big fan of German promoters, but pro boxing is big in Germany where most of the arenas are sold out and tv channels regularly show pro boxing.A lot of great fighters from the former soviet union fight out of Germany. For example Alexeev will soon dominate the cruiser weight division. He is one of the most promising pro fighters on this damn planet.
I am happy that he fights in the paid ranks.Who else than the Germans would have signed him up?? The Brits?? They dont have the money, and they are only interested in their own little world and their domestic fighters.
The Americans?? They dont care a fig for the top russian amateurs if they are not heavy weights.
    Japan?? Pah!
Mexico? They cant even pay their own compatriots decently!

Without the German market pro boxing would probably be in a coma or on the verge of a long agony.

This is freaken hilarious. A promotor actually ringing the bell with 1:30 left to save his fighter. I mean it doesn't get much more crazier than this.

I just watched this fight again. It gives me a warm feeling inside when Danny beats his ass in rounds 6 and 7, a win for justice and fair play
