    Emanuel told a story about how Duran and Hearns were at Caesars palace i believe this was way before they fought and Duran never seemed comfortable around Hearns he said Duran was a bit weirded out by him and didn't like to be around him for too long, and seemed not calm around him

    Great shout with Simon. His massive frame for the day, the hairy chest and the eyes that said they weren't prepared to feel pain until the week after a fight all give the picture of a man who was not to be taken lightly

    Well he was a huge muscular guy trained to put a beating on other huge muscular guys. I'm not sure it makes such a big difference whether he was a genuine psycho or "just" emotionally unstable. But yeah, he wasn't quite as menacing as Monzon, who almost never seemed to lose his cool killer look. Golota had something a bit clownish and pathetic about him at times.

    I'm not sure how much we're both being influenced by Monzon's life and career though. Show his photo to any non boxing fan and I don't know if they'd consider him to be particularly scary looking. Maybe someone a little on the wrong side of the tracks, but not, "Holy Crap! I don't wanna mess with that guy!" scary.

    Dempsey's face looks like it's been kept in vinegar.
