Hello everyone - Choclab I think it was - mentioned a journalist ringside for one of Max Baers fights describing the sound made by Baer's punches against his opponents head as like punching a bag of blood!! atsch:yikes OMG pretty grim - but got me wondering - always find it interesting getting views and quotes about fighters (and graphic descriptions of what it was like to face them) directly from the opponents who fought them (or failing that from people who were directly ringside) - can we pool together a collection of quotes from the fighters about what it was like to fight so-and-so or about how powerful a puncher so-and-so was - if you get what i mean - am at work at the moment so I'll have to find some later when I get home to post myself - i think it gives you a more realistic idea of who great fighters were because you here it directly from the people who are really qualified to know best - the fighters that fought them.
