    why does he lose though?

what if it goes to decision? so power does come into play when judging? I realy just want to figure this out because someone needs to map out how to judge a fight..... the whole boxing community needs this... theres been way to many shitty fights this year that went to a crumby decision

the only arguable fight that the decision didnt bother me was cotto vs clottey.... clottey won imo but the swing rounds were very close.. actually berto vs collazo as well..

    malignaggi vs diaz was clear
    dirrel vs froch was clear....

theres prolly more **** im forgetting about...

i mean based on some peoples logic... floyd vs baldomir should have ended up a close fight because baldomir chased floyd aroudn....

The man taking more risk is the aggressor, I favor him when he is effective, and Diaz was, he was also scoring the cleaner harder shots in each exchange.... his defense isnt to just catch shots on his chin he does block and slip as well, but he is not a saftey first scracth and sniff kind of fighter, he understands his job is to make it a fight....

Sorry But Diaz won, it will be more clear next time out....

Depends who is putting out the effective aggression. Impossible to do face value guesswork without an actual example. In the case of this weekend, Dirrell beat Froch.

Do yourself a favor and watch the Diaz fight with your TV on mute. I agree with the rest of your opinions in this post but Max was riding Pauli the whole way and it may have clouded your judgment.

I scored the fight for Froch but I didn't give him any benefit for phony agression.

I guess it depends which shots appear to be more damaging. If fighter B lands less, throws more but causes a cut or makes fighter A's nose bleed then I'd go for fighter B. But if both fighters cause damage with their shots then definitely it would go to fighter A. But if all fighter A lands are some pitty-pat punches, then they shouldn't count for much.

If the number of punches landed is all that matters in a round where no knock downs happened, then rounds should be judged using compubox.
