...in your physical and mental prime, and you don't have much wear and tear on your body as you've never been beat up in a fight. Your lifestyle, personality, and image you've portrayed to the public is one based off of being very wealthy. You've recently had some misfortune where a great deal of your acquired wealth was lost, but you have no worry because you're the biggest attraction in boxing, with people lined up to fight you and 10 to 20 million dollar paydays easily within your reach. You claim to be the best fighter on the planet that ever existed, and have gone through great lengths to discredit fighters considered great that came before you. You have many people and fighters out there who want to test you to see if you're really as great as you say you are.

So the question is, do you retire or do you fight?

And if you choose to retire based on the criteria presented, why?

And if you choose to fight, why?

What fighters in similar circumstances chose to retire in the past?

Why didn't you just say 'SCENARIO: You're Floyd Mayweather Jr' and save yourself the writing space.

You also have to mention that Floyd isn't particularly in love with boxing, his body is breaking down and he has a family to look after.

He's well within his fights to stay retired, as long as he doesn't keep proclaiming himself as the G.O.A.T. If he says that he has to back it up, even though realistically he could never became the greatest, if he stays retired then he has to accept there's a lot of guys more accomplished than him.

he doesnt love the sport anymore. he was boxing when he was 6 months!! Hes never did anything else, and being champ for 11 years probably got boring. I say retire.

Well first off I would never be an arrogant ***** like that, but if I was....

I would probably fight on for a few more fights. Probably against B+ level opposition because I hate losing, even though those fights might bring me only 2 million instead of 10. I know that may be considered cowardice but I would publicly admit that I dont want the loss on my record. I would say "Hey I know I have been the best in world the last several years but I'm starting to get past my prime. I still love the sport and want to fight on but I know my chances of losing to the other top guys out there are increasing. Therefor I will vacate the titles and maybe move up a weight division or stay here where I'm at for another year or 2." However you're scenerio presents a more cocky and arrogant fighter, so if I really was like that then I would probably fight on and challange whoever brings in the most money and probably eventually lose before retiring. I hate fighters who discredit those before them.

Well, atleast one person answered the question.

I asked what would YOU do, not Floyd.

Forget Floyd ever existed. Pretend the person in the scenario is YOU.

    NO FLOYD.

How ya all gonna cosign and thumbs up something that doesn't even answer the question.

In this scenario, FLOYD doesn't EXIST.

    It's about YOU. You're DECISION.

    BE INDIVIDUALS.

Personally, I would fight. ****, I'm the best right, so what do I got to lose?

And if I'm about money, I'm gonna get that money. Why would I retire when I can get millions of dollars and probably not lose?

    I wouldn't.

    That's my answer.

No ya all be some individuals and answer the question.
