Scenarios whereby Pacman MIGHT be able to somehow win?

Curious if anyone had any semi-plausible scenarios whereby they think Pac might have a chance?

For me, it all depends on one thing:

Can he avoid being seriously hurt over the first six rounds???

If he can, then I think he may have an outside chance in this one.

DLH notoriously fades down the stretch. Stamina has always been a problem for him in recent years. He is clearly NOT the same fighter he once was in terms of skills, speed, and strength, but he is still a pretty smart fighter who understands his own limitations.

But even if Pacquiao did manage to avoid being hurt over the first six, does he have enough pop to trouble DLH in the slightest? Can he outwork him and take enough late rounds to keep it close?

I'm not so sure of the answers here, and was wondering if anyone has considered any plausible scenarios for Pacquiao.

What's Pac's ideal strategy coming into this?

I look forward to reading some responses!

    :good

Oscar has to dehydrate so horrifically that 24 hours is not enough to rehydrate. There is not enough cushioning between his brain and his skull and upon recieving a heavy, clean powershot, he recieves brain damage and is seriously hurt.

There are other nightmarish scenarios connected with this fight, but this one happens to be the only way that I can see Oscar losing.

He probably will not avoid punishment and get stopped late

    Oscar breaks both his hands.

On a More serious scenario you could see an old Oscar show up the ring and not be able to keep up with the faster pac. I doubt it happens though

He does. He does have a chance. But not if it happens straight up. Something freaky has to happen, like in Rocky VI

Maybe strategically placed mirrors could be used to distract Oscar?

Manny WILL WIN! I'm gonna have a little flutter on this one. All the talk about disparity in weight between Oscar & Manny. What we need to realise is, Oscar will struggle to make 147lbs. I mean, he struggled to make 150lbs for Forbes. Did he even make 150lbs?

Pacquiao is younger, hungrier, faster & more explosive than Oscar. Manny is at his peak now, Oscar time has long gone. Add to that, Floyd Mayweather snr will not be in Oscar's corner, Oscar has said Mayweather snr takes him to a level that no other trainer does, so that's not a good sign!

As Freddy Roach has said, its all about preparation for Manny & Pacquiao prepares well. I expect Manny to have his best training camp to date. Manny all the way for me!

If I'm wrong, I'll be the first one on here eating humble pie & saluting Oscar, but I don't think it will be come to that!

Correct. I saw Oscar Saturday night at Ringside wearing that ***goty vest, and he looked, roughly about 168-171. Lets say he is. That means he has about 84 days or so to drop roughly 22-25 pounds. Think about that. Imagine 25 pounds of hamburger meat. Thats what Oscar needs to drop. IF he does so by December 5th, my guess is it affects his legs and stamina after 5.

If Pac-Man is active and isn't KO'd by oscar, he has a chance to swipe rds 9-12 and possibly get a KO....Oscar is known for fading as the fight goes on and he is now older than ever and possibliy won't come into the fight in tip top shape (See Felix Sturm...See bank account and how that COULD effect how one treats a fight).

Is there anything in the rules about mirrors?:rofl
