Floyd has backed himself into a corner, and now has tons of pressure on him. Its either Mosley, or look like a fool. Anything less is unacceptable! Yeah Schaefer's statement that he would make an announcement came out before the news of Berto cancelling the mosley fight.

So its possible PBF was planning on fighting someone else and then Mosley became available so they are working on that now. Schaefer already said they are working on making PBF v Mosley happen and Mosley has already said he will do whatever advanced PED tests they want. So I think it will happen.

 

Mayweather/Mosley for 5/1 was leaked out 24 hours before Berto backed out. Mosley was the fight Schaefer was referring to.
