Schaefer/Arum - More arguing over Pacquiao-Mayweather

Pac's a *****, or Arum's a cockroach.

Take your pick at this point. If this is really what is depriving boxing for a mega-fight. A 10 day disagreement on a blood testing cut off date, or Pac not being informed on the 14 Day Cutoff.

 

Arum is a douche. I knew all along Floyd was tredding in deep water by trying to call his bluff, and Arum knowing he has more options is now telling Floyd to f off.

 

Wow. Listen to Arum's response... "Are you crazy?" and he hung up the phone.


That doesn't sound like Floyd is ducking anyone. It sounds more like Arum feels he is ahead in the Public Relations portion of the fight, and is content with just making Floyd look bad. I don't think he really wants the fight at this point.

 

And it sounds like Arum isn't even communicating the negotiations with Pacquiao.

Arum is taking this too damn personal. Seems to me Arum's pride is getting in the way of this fight just as much (if not more) than Mayweather's or Pacquiao's is.

 

I have a hard time believing they turned down 14 days. Just my gut feeling. I think they are bringing it up after the fact. I considered running a poll to see if people believe the 14 days was offered during the mediation or not but wanted to keep my status as the only one NOT to start a thread about this ****. :yep

 

I dont think anyone understands how badly these two guys hate each other Arum and Mayweather. Its definitely as much of a battle of egos as anything else, and its backfiring on us the fans.

 

Yeah that really seems like a plausible explanation for Pac not even considering a reasonable offer of 14 days...

sounds like this 14 days proposal came AFTER the mediation.

Why not before? Why wait for the mediation to fail before coming out with this offer? Doesn't make sense.

 

Hermit, it sounds ridiculous that 14 days wasn't even mentioned at all. And if you read the article, and Arum's response, it should tell you all you need to knwo about who is not trying to score this fight.

But then again, you are a Pavlik fan, atsch and you believe everything Arum says...
