One of them will fold. I think most likely be the Mayweathers an accept a 24 day cut-off, maybe they'll compromise for 19 or some dumb **** lol

Arum knows he is negotiating from a position of strength. He is willing to make Floyd wait. That is why Floyd was quick to come up with the 14 the next day. That is how I see it anyhow. I just want this to be over, one way or the other. I really don't give a rat's ass about this fight anymore. :deal

Yep. He lost a game of brinksmanship with Arum and Arum's hand will be stronger next fall. Notice Arum left that open in the phone interview? He didn't say it was dead. He is softening Mayweather up for the next round.

14 days is more than enough time for a grown man to recover from his mental phobia of needles or blood. Pacquiao not taking this deal is signaling he doesn't want to fight and is shitting his pants whether he thinks Floyd can beat him or because he wouldn't be able to use the BALCO special is undetermined.

And to the people belly aching "I don't believe Floyd, bwahhhh" its on the table publicly now. Arum can simply go on ESPN and say we accept his compromise and are willing to sign the papers. He didn't, and that means that he isn't interested in making this fight happen.

This is a grade A ducking by Pacquiao

That's rediculous. Arum has no way of controlling that Floyd will not accept 24 days, but will accept 14. He is not a Jedi

Floyd could just have said "ok, 24" and Arum's master plan that you've just laid out for us would have failed miserably.

Are you a boxing fan though? I don't understand how you can sit here and praise Arum for his sage negotiation while we don't see the fight that we want to see. :huh

I think as a Pav fan, you are a little too far up Bob Arum's ass. You seem a little eager to side with him on all accounts. Take off your Youngstown-Arum shades for a minute and look at the facts.

Pac has not signed a contract with anyone yet. Floyd is offering a 14-day window which is more than a fair compromise. Arum seems unwilling to deal. And he also seems unwilling to communicate this offer to pac's people. Looks like, to any objective viewer, that Arum is working to kill this fight.

Why do you not see any hardcore pac fans on this thread like all the others????

From the very beginning Arum has been brushing this fight off, he was talking about JMM at Dallas stadium after the cotto fight. Every quote he had about this fight was negative

I'm not saying Arum tried to sabatoge it, just he welcomed the chance to walk away from it it seems.

Oh were gonna get the fight. Whether it's in March or September it's gonna happen. I personally think it's on March 13th, one of these camps better not **** this up over 10 days now...

Just because Mayweather says something to the press doesn't mean it will translate to his negotiating position. His 'strength' in these negotiations was knowing Pac had a deadline to fight because of his election commitments. Like I said, he expected Arum to blink but Arum simply announced his intentions to move on. Arum may have decided that it only strengthens his hand for September since he left the door open for that.

When the mediator came out and said that Pac's camp wasnt truthful on certain things I find it hard to believe anything they say now. To me its pretty simple if you want to fight take the test if you have nonthing to hide.

Yup, mayweather's camp handle it perfectly. Not a word to the media until now, and it's only one statement.

    Arum take notes....
