When I bought my truck I save $500 more after the dealer made his 'best offer' by saying "OK, thanks" getting up and walking out the door. This salesman chased me out to the lot and knocked another $500 off. I'd been to several places before and he was already a few hundred lower than the other places. I'd love to sell some of you guys cars. :yep
Arum has Floyd and Schaeffer chasing. He's in the driver seat now. BTW, I believe the fight will still happen.
I read the statement from the mediator and missed that part. Please quote it for me. Thank you. I'm killing time avoiding cleaning out my basement and would appreciate your kind assistance in this matter. :deal
Pretty much on both accounts. Forget the fact of whether it was done before or during mediation. The fact that it's on the table now and Arum is still dicking around shows that all along it was them not really wanting the fight. I think deep down inside Arum is afraid Mayweather will beat Pac and his cash cow will be ruined. So he wants to squeeze a little more juice out of Pac pairing him with a Top Rank fighter so he can get a little more money. But the thing I don't get is there's enough money for this one fight that won't be made if either of them do 2 separate fights each. A little illogical but they need to just get this done. Time is now.
Nice attempt to patronize. Your previous post stated that Arum was "softening" Mayweather for future negotiations and that there comes a time to "move on". Now your position is that he is simply negotiating out of strength in hopes to make the fight on 3/13. I hope you're right above.
The fights dead. What's the point in continuing to argue over it? Yall getting played over and over, strung along for laughs. Same argument, only 3 days later.
Where I find fault in this reasoning is that Pac makes more from this fight than another 4 or 5 combined probably. So why would he be afraid of Pac losing now. $25/$40 mill is a very nice cash out even if that is what it would mean.
No attempt to patronize. Just showing that a cool head 'wins' in this situation. I'm not saying he is still hoping to make the fight the 13th though it is not out of the realm of possibility. Arum has been around a lot longer than his opponents in this one and it is fun to watch him work even if you don't like him.
Arum thinks he can just put anyone in front of manny and sell over a million ppv's..well he's wrong and I hope the fans will pull together and not buy manny's next fight or floyd's next fight, unless it's against eachother...Just stream them on the internet for free but don't pay for this garbage...Unless floyd holds out for the mosley/berto winner or miraculously calls out paul williams
I don't think watching Bob work is fun at all. I am concerned about how bad this will look for boxing if this fight is not made. If it happens in Septmeber it would be ok, but that is a big if, especially if Pac fights Clottey.
Pac camp said everyone, Schaefer and Haymon included, had came to an agreement at the mediation but the offer was still refused by Floyd. The mediator later came to clarify that no agreement had been made at the hearing
