I like Khan even though he has to be the dumbest (in the ring boxer) Iv'e ever seen. Garcia is a boxer, and Khan a better one, so what does he do? Give away his advantages and provide Garcia the only chance he had and stay there in front of him and swap potshots. You ain't Manny!

The comeback may not be good for his long term health and if he gets smashed in his next fight Froch will look like a genius.

I think Froch should come out on the offensive and really lay into Schaefer.

Do it along the lines of manufacturing ''champions'' like Alvarez and Ortiz, rather than making boxers come up the hard way by beating opponents their own size....

At the end of the day Khan is the one that's made the twattish comments by failing to actually read/listen to what Froch has said.

It's not as if it's a blatant dig either, given that Froch himself spoke about packing in if he lost to Bute.

 

And Froch wonders why no one knows who he is or why he wasn't asked about the Olympic torch.

Haye was one of the first guys to say Khan will be fine, he backed up one of his fellow countrymen. Even before I read what Froch had said everyone knew what he was going to say, its like he almost wanted him to lose.

Instead of talking about his 'warrior mentality' and 'polish genetics' or 'becoming a legend' and slagging of fellow countrymen, he should be there lending support.

He moans and *****'s so much about how he doesn't get the recognition or the big money, well if he stopped slagging of his fellow countrymen that might help, lets not forget he had a pop at Haye in an article earlier in the week as well.

You cant sit there and slag of British fighters then turn around and say why dont the British love me? That BBC article whether mis-quoted or not has done him damage.

Froch is definatly a bit bitter with the support the other brits get. Saying that hes only saying it how it his. Did anyone see him on ringside mocking Kahn last week?? "Id never heard anyone refer to themselves as a superstar , but i suppose if u dont love yourself no one else will!" or something along them lines. Froch is a funny mother ****er.

 

I think Froch said "I suppose if you don't believe in yourself, noone else will."

 

Presumably you think it is alright for Khan to do it though ? Khan is a tit, he speaks like one and acts like one. He is toast forget him :good

 

We all know the history between Froch and Khan. They obviously don't like each other, but in the last couple of years have at least kept the peace.

Whatever Froch did or didn't say, he must have known his comments would stoke up the fire again. He wasn't exactly full of support. Even if it is just his opinion, coming out with that so soon after Khan has been stopped, makes Froch look a bit childish and petty, in my opinion. It was only a couple of years ago that he was slagging Khan off for being boring, defensive and fighting poor opponents.

 

Khan loves giving it out, ala McCloskey, Brook, WE this and WE that but doesnt like it because Froch told some home truths?

This actually gets to the heart of his problems - hes lacks maturity as a fighter and as a man.

He was basically saying (and Calzaghe agreed with him) that only a ****ing ***** that is a) trying to be the new FLoyd or b) so far up his own ass that he thinks hes way better than he really is and has a big reality check coming would quote himself in the 3rd person and refer to himself as a superstar'

in a way glad he got KO'ed and godwilling that humbles him.
