I'm not sure why anyone believed a poll would be a factor either way.

based on how Mayweather picks his opponets, Maidana is a heavy favorite in my eyes.

Mayweather always fights fighters of one of there biggest wins or biggest. Khan has done nothing of the sort, Maidana has. Thats why i never believed Khan was going to be the fight.

It probably took all this time to pay Broner step aside money which he didnt want to take because he wont get that title back when Mayweather wins. Thats probably what was taking so long IMO. pay him to step aside and give him undercard spot, all bussiness

 

If he pulls a swerve and it ends up being neither Khan nor Maidana but, say, Lara (or anyone else he is suposedly ducking if he does pick Khan or Maidana - I wonder how quickly a) the new selection will be turned upon and shredded to pieces, called a cherry picked bum etc. and b) how long it will take someone to dare say Khan and/or Maidana are now the ones being ducked. :nut
