Again, fair enough points. You could say Pavlik was a bit dumb for just standing there lifting his arms when JT was tagging him (definitely an elbow in there, I agree) but Froch was scared because it was his first time, as you also said.

Hopkins is very precise and will probably drop Froch due to his balance, but I just can't see him stopping him. If anything, I think he will more cautious BECAUSE of Froch's lack of fundementals, as you never know when Froch is going to start winging and when he is trying to lue you in.

Still, Hopkins will win nearly every round, still can't believe one judge had Froch four rounds up last week :patsch

Hopefully Frochy will fight the best of his division, I think that's what he wants rather than 'super fights' at catchweights etc etc

Some guys play to an opponents weaknesses.
Some guys play to an opponents strengths.
The great ones know how to do it all.

I seen this coming the moment Jermain put Froch down in their fight...
I was like "Bernard is defo gonna come out and challenge the winner of this one"

It would have been revenge if Taylor won or a chance to fight another younger fighter in Froch with a style that suits even the older Hopkins.

    Not surprised.

Froch has so many problems, he wouldn't be able to handle the 'Nardster. He'll school him.

hmm says... I'ld like to see this shiet go down... I'm not counting Froch out, but this is something good for BH to possibly retire on if he does win.

If Froch allows Bernard to challenge him & comes out with a win.
Froch would be hard to deny the #1 spot in the area of 168lbs weight class IMO.
    (regardless of Kessler & Bute)

on a side note, I'm also surprised Jones Jr. hasn't thrown his hat into the mix.

Lou DiBella: "The one fight Froch should never, ever take, is Bernard Hopkins".

Froch is cool and he could have a lot of fun in losing to Bute, Kessler or having 50/50/winning vs. Balzsay/Miranda/Andrade/Bika etc.

But there's no fun in losing to Hopkins.

Man, based on Hopkins recent accomplishments, I don't think there would be any shame involved...despite the guy bein' 43. He's still fightin' like he's considerably younger. It's quite impressive.

There is no ****ing way Hopkins is gonna go to England to fight Froch.

In the US I can see Hopkins fiddling his way to a decision but if its in Nottingham he loses. The ref would be on him for all his snidey little tricks but it wont happen.

    Nard dont travel !!
