Schaefer: "Hopkins Wants Froch, And He'll Go To The UK To Make It Happen"

Thats what I was thinking.He has too 'age' sometime so you cant count your chickens with Bernard.The time gap between Pavlik and a Froch fight is a long time at his age.
Froch might be the lucky guy who is just fighting a legend who became an old man this night.

 

Froch slagged Calzaghe off for Months about (a) his overall performance v Hopkins and (b) the fact he was fighting "old men".

The fact Hopkins wants this fight and is willing to travel to the UK now means the pressure is on Froch to take this fight. How stupid will he look if he turns the fight down after all he's said in the past.

B-Hop must have seen so many weaknesses in Froch's boxing that, even at this late stage of his career, he must genuinly believe he can get down to SMW and still win a world title.

I think B-Hop would have a field day v Froch. The Master of defence and counter punching v the master of telegraph punching and no defence :bbb

 

I'd love to see Froch win, I really would, but just can't see it happening

 

Who wants to see Borenard spoiling, holding and back peddalling for 12 rounds? Borenard stinks the joint out

 

And if Froch wins manyh will say he just beat a faded old man.

Far better to face Bute,Kessler or Green, than Borenard

 

I think this would be a pointless fight for Froch, he has nothing to gain by it. If he wins, people will say he beat someone in the 40s who's past it, If he loses, well he's back to square one and will have it all to do to get to the top.

if he wins, he beat the guy that was Joe's best win not to mention the guy that alot of people though Joe lost too....and as a Joe Calzaghe stalker, i think he would like that very much

but i dont think Froch is dumb enough to take this fight, he should fight some1 else

would you see Hopkins-hating Calzaghe fans end up rooting for him against Froch to prove that Calslappy was really all that.

 

Hopkins has too much for Froch, what weight would they fight at though?

 

Hopkins is not interested in Kessler.. wonder why! but in Pavlik and Froch! maybe Hopkins just know who he can beat, and who he cant beat!

 

Will he pay him a decent salary or peanuts?

 

I like Froch quickly becoming on of my favorite fighters but Hopkins is all wrong for him.

I can't see Hopkins travelling to Nottingham. If it does happen, Froch will go to the US.
