Yeah but if its at 175 Hopkins has shown a little more power at that weight as opposed to 160 ..

Kesslers already been schooled once, so why would he fight him again? he gains nothing from beating Kessler, he is irrelevant, in fact...who's the last decent fight Kessler beat??

As being the best at 168 would make Kessler the man to beat in SMW! the same way Dawson is the man to beat at LH! But i havn`t heard Hopkins call him out either! The fact that Kessler have inactive so long.. think most know whats going on with his promotor!

Kessler got beat by JC, but not schooled! JC even said it was his toughest fight ever! if Hopkins would beat Kessler.. i expect that could bring JC back from retiment to rematch Hopkins! thats what Hopkins been crying about since he lost to Calz... so i dont think that makes Kessler irrelevant!

nah, Kessler got schooled alright, most people (me included) only gave him the 1st 2 rounds at best....regardless of how hard a fight Joe said it was, the outcome remains the same

and as i've said b4, Kessler hasn't beat a decent fight in a cool ass minute, he is irrelevant, and if you think Hopkins beating Kessler is gonna make Joe say "oh ****, he beat the guy i schooled, i really need to lace up and hop back into the ring to fight Hopkins now"....then you're playin yourself, no hate but this is real talk, Bernard gains nothing from fighting him, i rate Kessler highly but, he hasn't provent him self since he got taken to school by Joe, so he just doesn't do anything to spark any kind of interest in Hopkins

Kessler would have to beat Bute or some relevant fighter to create enough buzz to get Hopkins attention, till then he's irrelevant...

First there was Winky Wright, then Pavlik, now Froch. To get a fight with Hopkins all you have to do is beat up on Jermain Taylor.

I love bernard. Crush everyone's heroes. What he did to trinidad was classic. Beginning to end.

And then some. This shouldn't be remotely competitive. Only question is weather Froch lasts the distance.

**** this, Hopkins should fight the best in his own division, he's just looking for easy fights.

IMO this is a tough fight for Hopkins, much like the Adamek fight would have been.

While Hopkins is several levels better in skill...I am just unsure how well he can do against these guys who are so much physically stronger than him. I mean, Froch and Adamek are the kind of guys who will hurt you with every punch.

**** that, he already cherry picked Pavlik. I could care less if he's 80 years old, he's considered the best 175(imo it's Dawson but w/e) and a top p4p fighter. If he's not gonna fight the best, then he can just retire and let other guys take the top position in that division. He's holding that position hostage.
