At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Maidana bests Pacquiao, Maidana is a hard puncher in prime and a title holder not coming off a loss he's exactly the type of guy Pacquiao does not fight. Meanwhile Pacquiao is legitimately 2-2 and in most opinions 1-3 in his last 4 bouts. I think a few of the top fighters at WW/JWW take him now. Stylistically if you gave Maidana 3 times as much speed as he does now you have Pacquiao both are offensive fighters, ackward angles, neither one is considered defensive masters by any stretch.

The only 2 who can beat PAC at this stage in his career in my opinion are Floyd and maybe Bradley and possibly his nemesis Marquez but I think PAC beats Marquez in a rematch.

Its very possible its also likely that Maidana gets to a newly cracked Pacquiao, people act like its an insult to say someone will beat Pacquiao or did beat Pacquiao even at the height of his reign Pacquiao never looked unbeatable in dominating Cotto he still had a broken ear drum and half his face wrapped up in a whitewash of Clottey he still left looking like he's been in a war.

Pac has always been there to be hit only difference is he was just KO'd badly as much as people don't want to admit it Maidana is proven to be a better/tougher fighter than Rios is currently in better shape/standing than almost all of Pac's WW opponents and has a legit claim at being the #3 WW behind Bradley, I may have more respect for the career of Pacquiao than Maidana but one thing I do know is if your winning or on a win streak Pacquiao don't fight you anyway and when he has he's loss
