"This is certainly, without a doubt, going to be the biggest pay-per-view of the year," Schaefer said.

Schaefer says the campaign to promote this event will be so big that he actually gives it a chance to beat the success of the biggest pay-per-view ever, 2007's Oscar De La Hoya vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Schaefer credits the "name value" and "name recognition" of Mayweather for making the sponsorships possible.

I highly doubt it... Possibly this could be it...

Schaefer: Mayweather vs Marquez biggest FLOP pay-per-view of the year.

This fight is gonna sell alot on ppv but nowhere near as Oscar PBF. The promotion is weak. PBF is going to have to so somethin outrageous to move more tickets ...there is no buzz for this fight. It seems like GBP slipped. The undercard is interesting but not enough to make this event a success.

The undercard is so great because they realize that the main event is not that great. If they didn't stack this card, they realize that the PPV numbers would've been embarrassing.

The only way they'll beat DLH/PBF at this point is for Floyd to fight Pac. I'm sure that would absolutely smash records.

That being said, this is a better card than Pac-Cotto.

    Of course it will.

JMM is just a tune up bout.

Cotto/Manny is more important than a return match against JMM.
