Please lol... They know who Floyd is, and maybe they don't know who JMM is, but the Mexican fan base is huge, and JMM will bring his troops, and Floyd will bring his fans who love and hate him lol...

 

I agree that Valero would probably KO Soto coz Soto is slow... but it will be a good fight and a good name to add in Valero's nameless resume...

Yep, he would KO Soto, but that would be good to add the name to his resume for sure. It would be a good stepping stone to the really big fights. Maybe there's a chance it can be put on Pac/Cotto (I hope Nevada decides to review his reinstatement for a license very soon!).

 

Interesting thing to note is that the fight is being promoted via 24/7 and I don't think the PAC Cotto fight is going to get this type of coverage plus PBF will be on WWE I think.

I think the failure comes from the fact that PBF has toned down the trash talk. Marquez is mild mannered so I don't expect anything from him to generate buzz.

At this point either PBF or his corner will make an off color statement.

 

I think that PBF will victimize himself and play the role that he's never got his just due as an elite fighter ... it will also be drama with his trainer/uncle, his dad, and he will never stop talking trash ... he will be sending a message out to other potential opponents ... I don't think this will be his best 24/7 because Marquez doesn't speak english (by choice) and he doesn't talk much trash.

I think doubt will sell this fight ... doubt that Floyd is the same ... doubt that Marquez is a big underdog ... doubt that Floyd could come back after such a long layoff ...

the question rather Floyd is broke ... questions of Marquez' training methods ... questions on Mayweather's flashy lifestyle.

 

I'm buying this PPV great fight for the fans and also great undercard! This is definitely worth the money.
