Looks like there could be a possibility of a Mayweather-Ortiz clash..

Well a loss to Mayweather doesn't hurt Ortiz's career at all. If anything it benefits his career having that name on his resume also if he at least puts up a good fight which he certainly could would do wonders for him...

And who knows seeing a possessed Southpaw coming at him might bring thought of PAC and the fright might get to him giving ortiz a chance

If Ortiz ends up fighting Floyd. That's like winning the million dollar lottery win or lose. Lucky Ortiz!!

    Possible opponents for Ortiz?

Ortiz is a very unlikely OPPONENT FOR MAYWEATHER.

    But we'll see.

after Mayeather beats Ortiz, the champ @ 147, you will hear more excuses, Ortiz already has been beat, weak champion etc....

meanwhile Pac will stop a old shot Mosley and they will claim it's a better win.

That's because people don't respect Floyd. Something money can't buy.

    2 kinds of respect:

1.) It"s because they fear you and you have lots of connection and money = respect you can buy and not earn
2.) Respect you have to earn by not making an ass out of yourself and badmouthing other people = the kind of respect even if you are an old helpless guy that can be easily killed, but they won't because of the good things you did in the past.

    Floyd has Respect no.1

    cough Margarito LOLLLL

someone sounds mad Floyd is beating Pacquiao to the punch once again.

Floyd fights for the 147 championship while Pacquiao fights old men who are shot.

Mayweather fighting someone who is a name , but has only fought once at 147, hang on a second hasnt he done this once or 10 times before?????

    All roads lead to Mayweather.

    God bless America.

please. Ortiz has only been 12 rounds once in his entire career. Has only had two title fights in his entire career and he's 1-1. He's never defended his title.

Mosley is a lock for the HOF, Ortiz hasn't done **** yet.

In his last 6 fights, Ortiz has 5 fights scheduled for 10 rounds. And if you go one more fight back he got stopped in 6 rounds by someone who got schooled by Morales at 140. Also, his fight right before Berto is a draw against Anthony Peterson

Which is exactly why it would be a "tune up." I like it. Floyd can fight a young, hungry southpaw as his comeback fight and hopefully get a Pac showdown. Its better than him coming back to fight Marquez at 147.

This logic is funny. So Mosely is the prime version that made him into a HOF?

Maybe then should call Kostya Tszyu or some other old shot fighter to be PAC's next HOF fighter that has a 20 year career and call it a great win.

Young fighters don't get no respect because they don't carry a name....

    Anyways Ortiz wins Over Mosely.
