I knew this was going to happen after seeing Mayweather at that fight. Mayweather will box Ortiz's ears off.

I think they should have Ortiz fight another bigger name first just to build him up a bit before a huge fight with Floyd though.

Man you need to chill , I am just pointing out that Many boxers have had hard ships.

Put it this way Floyd having having Roger and his father in his life playing good **** bad **** couldnt have been easy either.

Most great boxers become great because of what happend to them when they were young.

WHat I was saying is that Ortiz story is more sellable than the average boxing tough childhood story. Oscar had a good story. emmanuel has a good story. You can disagree if you like.

I'd like to see how well Mayweather could take Ortiz's punches but i highly doubt this fight will happen.

    i'd rather have Pac/Floyd

BUT this is the type of fighter you guys say he needs to fight right...young, hungry fighters in their prime, he's comming off a very good win, he's lefty, i mean these are what you knock him for all the time.....so why wouldnt this be a solid fight if the Pac/Floyd fight don't fall through?

Schaefer uses Mayweather name anywhere. Just saying it makes more headline!

I hope Ortiz comes in hungry, beats Mayweather and shocks the world.

OK so Ortiz beat a once-undefeated welter in Berto. so **** what? How many times did Ortiz fought at WW? Ortiz is a good fighter, but pitting him against seasoned welters in floyd and pac is insane. let him fight more fights in this division first.

Oh wait, ortiz-pac/floyd is a million dollar fight. go on ortiz! you already won the freakin lottery.

You're talking about a guy PBF has already ****ing dominated...Ortiz as it stands today is a better fighter than Mosley, bottom line.

It doesn't get any more opposite-ends-of-the-fame-spectrum than Mayweather and Aydin.

Also opposite ends of the competitiveness spectrum. Ortiz would be a rightful heavy favorite over Aydin but would be at risk of getting KTFO. He would be a rightful massive underdog against Mayweather and would not even have a puncher's chance. None.
