Every time Schaefer puts together a Mayweather or Canelo fight he talks about it being the biggest event ever. That massive twat that he is.

 

Floyd vs JMM II and Cotto v Canelo tops that easily in $.

Agree with you about Cotto's performance and I'm only arguing from a money generating standpoint not fight competitiveness. Cotto sold out tickets at MSG against Trout who doesn't have much of a fan base. There's too many angles, Puerto Rico v Mexico, Mexican Independence Day, payback for Cotto's brother KO ...

 

This is what I think will happen too, it will be a cross site split, because Canelo and Cotto are to big to be on the undercard they need their own crowd.
