Certainly worth a little wager as Maidana's whiskers ain't to good, i just don't think Khan will commit enough to sit on his punches and get Maidana out of there especially early on. Expect to see a very cautious performance at least for the first half of the fight, lots of clinching and keeping Maidana at the end of the jab.

D-Mac's Vernon/Mayorga parrallel is a good one if you're arguing for Maidana, but Mayorga took Vernon's heart and pysched him out by taking his best shot...Maidana might be buzzed with the first combo Khan lands.

I can't wait for the excuses after the fight when Khan's won..

Some guy has already claimed Khan was forced into it just to take credit away when really Khan ALWAYS wanted the fight :patsch

Khan will stop this guy, I'll put a hefty bet on it. But the excuses will ring out from the anti Khan brigade once he wins.

    Finally!!

Good fight, albeit one that should have been made months ago. I fancy Khan to win it personally. Wide UD. Might have a few scares on the way though.

If Khan can use his speed and the accurate jab he showed last time out it could be an easy night for him.

I'm not confident in Khan's defensive ability to withhold a Maidana assault for the full 12 rounds. If he doesn't get Maidana's respect with his powershots, then I fear the worst for him in the latter rounds.

Maidana TKO rounds 9/10, whilst Khan is up on the scorecards.

After getting his head constantly rocked by the Khan jab, Maidana won't be as dangerous in the latter rounds.

Maidaina is one of the easier fights out there for Khan.

I see no problems at all. He just seems to be getting rated highly because of the perceived ducking.

Now for me Ortiz will be one hell of a tough fight!!! (and one I would pay good money to watch!!!)

How many times has Khan been knocked down? That chin will always hamper him however he has a great heart as he has only been knocked out once and is a World Champion.

I wouldn't write off Maidana so easily. I reckon we'll see AK get knocked down at least once in the fight.

Maidana is relentless. I don't think Khan will be used to dealing with such a style, although sure- technically they are in different leagues. I give Maidana a 50% chance of winning and a 60% chance of scoring at least 1 knock down.

As much as I hate to say it, I agree that this could be what'll happen. I'm not convinced about Khan's defence either. I don't understand how he won't get hit. I see it being pretty bad.

I very much doubt that my friend.

I see Khan utilising his Jab like never before. Pedalling on the backfoot keeping him at bay with the Jab and occasionally using that great short right he throws on his inside and drop Maidana. Maidana is a sucker for that punch.
