Lance, if you really took time to read the post then that's even worse. That means that even after taking time to process what you read, yet you still couldn't understand a relatively basic concept. I would tell you to stop playing stupid, but I feel that it might not be an act. The fact of the matter is, you really don't seem to understand the role of the manager and the promoter. If you did, you would understand why I would question Arum sending Koncz to do anything in regards to a fight, even if it's just to explore it.

Now with you it seems that I have to spell everything out(which is probably pointless anyway). So here it is, do I know for sure if Koncz works for Arum? Of course not. Anyone with an ounce of common sense would be able to deduce that. However, a manager exists to protect the interests of the fighter, this includes ensuring that the promoter isn't ripping the fighter off. If a promoter and manager are too close(i.e one works for the other), then that's a conflict of interest. When you hear that the promoter is sending the manager to do so something in regards to a potential fight(even if it's just exploratory talks), that begs the question of as to what extent is the relationship between the two. There could be several explanations, but the first thing that comes to my mind is if Koncz is working for Arum. The reason for this has to do with varoious reports that Koncz receives checks from Top Rank. So when you combine those reports wtb information that Arum is sending Koncz to explore fights, it's easy to see why someone would question if Koncz is working for Arum. Most people would be able to deduce this without a full, drawn out explanation, but I guess you're different.

 

I'm just happy there's noise about this **** and it's clear that Arum is the only one without explicit support for the fight.
