yes it would be fair. he makes the weight regardless. so draining down to 145 would stop him from regaining weight? ballooning would be a result of draining not coming in at your natural weight. he would rehydrate more if he has to lose more.

its an unfair advantage being given to another fighter regardless of if its loaded gloves, steroids, or weight handicaps.

there are more than enough weight classes already
and if i'm overreacting to your statements you are insulting Pacquiao by saying that he can only win if mayweather comes in at 145 or less.

 

perfectly fine until you think about the fact that they wanted to fight a 147 pound fighter and thats what they got in the ring with them.

 

It all comes down to HBO sitting at the table with Arum, the Mayweather team and litterally force them to reach a deal !!

-Winner gets 55 and loser gets 45 in the split.
-Fight is in Vegas with the standard size ring.

They are in dream land. Even at the press conference it was mentioned that they were saying the PBF Camp was talking 65 -35 PBF's way.

Now i stream PBF always have and have never paid to watch him. The only time i will is if he fights Pacman.

And Pac deserves more ****ing respect than that.

PBF needs Pac more than Pac needs him.

Pac could take 55% or 60% for a Mosley fight.

Anyway, if Pac-Cotto outdid Floyd-JMM, then a 60/40 split is completely fair. What has Mayweather done recently to deserve a fight at 50/50?

 

i am not insulting pacquiao. as a pac fan i want this fight at 147 so a win over floyd would be much bigger since he fought floyd at his optimal weight. but of course, i would like also for floyd to get the best possible credit if he beats pac. that is at 145 where it is much nearer to pac's optimal weight now of 142-144. 145 is just a perfect catchweight and people are really over-reacting that this fight would not happen on an exact weight limit. guys, its just a division's limit. what's important is the fight itself and the fairness of where the fight should be.

I think Floyd is cornered. There's no excuse when the whole world is calling for you though I'd rather see the winner of Mosley/Floyd vs. Pac, but you know that **** ain't happening.
