...and with that, Boone is now batting .500 in his pro career.

    23-23-4.

For some bizarre reason Schiller Hyppolyte and Hadillah Mohoumadi have that Bill Paxton-Bill Pullman and Dermot Mulroney-Dylan McDermott effect on me. And I'm not sure why. Maybe the double L's in their first names, they don't really look that much alike.:conf Beats me.

I can't believe they are putting a 20 years old prospect against a 25 years old, 13-0, 11 KO, fighter. Great match making, what a way to potentially screw up a carreer.

    Round 1

Janjanin is circling and pawing a double left jab, using exaggerated ducks and swiveling his neck to get under Butler's rangy hooks. Butler switches tacks and starts ripping hooks on the belt line. Steady pressure from Butler, working the body liberally with both hands and keeping Janjanin mostly shut down offensively. 1-2-3 from Butler chasing Janjanin as he squats in place reacting to a feint.

    10-9 Butler

Yeah but Janjanin has a very padded record. Butler's last opponent before this was 13-0 (9) and he dominated.

Before that he blitzed a 10-1 (6) guy in two minutes flat - and Jaime Herrera is probably still his best opponent to date (including tonight)

    Round 2

Janjanin is withstanding a torrent of hard body hooks and plunging rights wound up near Butler's cheek before descending. Janjanin retreating and ducking, pumping a high double jab to discourage Butler and not reaching with it. Butler jabs his way in to set up a head-body combo and puts Janjanin on a knee. Sustained attack from Butler, doubling hooks downstairs and landing on the crown or base of the skull with ax-fall rights as Janjanin dips forward. Janjanin down again.

    10-7 Butler

    20-16 Butler

A 13-0, 11 ko professionnal record, padded or not, is still a fighter I would not put my 20 year old prospect in front of.

...unless you look at his last three opponents, then it makes perfect sense and is par for the course given his management thus far.

...and you need only check a bit of footage of Janjanin to know he is no more dangerous than Hoffamn, Tuominen, or Herrera.

I guess he is 13-1 now and probably wishes he was never put in front of that 20 years old prospect!

That was brutal, they need to take Janjanin to the hospital he looks like his equilibrium was off and he got hit behind the ear quite a few times.

Butler can be a bit awkward and ungainly, but he's pretty damned effective at applying pressure and dropping bombs. Good performance.
