Charles is a master boxer but he's a wee bit vulnerable above 175 - i'll pick Schmeling to catch him and hurt him before stopping him a couple of rounds later, say 10 or 11.

This is a pick 'em. In my opinion, Max's hardest punches may have been harder and that might be enough to make a difference, but I wouldn't be laying any money on this one.

I think Shmeling could beat Rocky, though I don't expect many to agree with me on this one. I think Rocky is the better fighter head to head but I also think that Max is a bit of a nightmare for him. A smart box-puncher who is an excellent counter-puncher and has one enormous shot. I'll pick Max by KO.

    Max, early.

    ...Max on points.

    ...Max on points.

Seems I rate Max higher than I thought I did.

    Loses to
    Charles

In his losses I would pick they would all be by UD

Schmeling Charles and Schmeling Walcott would be pick em fights. The kind of match ups that could end up in a split series.

Schmeling Marciano would be more interesting than many might think because Schmeling was verry good against pressure fighters. I would still pick Marciano.

Patterson would be made for Schmeling. He was verry good at using a pressure fighters forward momentum against them.
