Come on brotha you can't sum up his resume by those guys ,Reggie Johnson,Mike McCallum, Thomas Tate ,Sugar Boy Molinga ,Virgil Hill weren't scrubs ..I mean after Hill DM fought Nicky Piper ,Darren Zenner,Andrea Magi ? Who the hell were they ? Cab drivers ? No one knows what they did outside the ring because no one knew them ..

I think both guys can take blame for that fight not going down..

 

I remember this fight I had Maske winning this pretty clearly yet he lost a decision in German of all places

 

RJJ beat scrubs at LHW and avoided names at SMW. I think RJJ and DM deserve blame, but RJJ moreso. DM won the titles of Hill. He was the man at 175.

 

Well Dm beat a bunch of scrubs as well ,Jones actually has the better resume but if you don't agree I won't convince you ..And Jones unified the division so DM may have fought his way out the # 1 spot since he didn't do much after beating Hill ..

 

I 100% agree RJJ has the better resume, but DM just beat Hill, who had beaten Maske. I think RJJ should have made the fight. It would have been an epic showdown of 2 guys who were dominate at 175.

DM also unified with Hill. WBO, WBA, and the IBF. Shame DM lost his last 2 fights in such harsh fashion. He stuck around too long.

So after he beat Hill and had 3 OF THE 4 titles...he was not the man? Also didnt Graziano win the WBC the fight before DM knocked him out? Then he technically would have had all 4 belts.

Its sucks to see what once were great fighters go down those roads .But when thats all you know how do you convince these guys to stop,the ugly sideof boxing ..

 

I feel if DM fought RJJ around 2001 or 2002, it would have been a great fight for the fans. Winner would have gotten huge kudos. DM would have pressured the **** out of RJJ and RJJ would have landed tons of leather. It would have been so exciting. Oh well.

This is why I hate Pac and FMJ, this fight NEEDS to happen, and they are being bitches and holding it up.
