Lebedev would have been an awesome addition to the tournament, but I wouldn't have subbed him for Dorticos. I think he should have been in it and was more deserving than Kudryashov, and that's nothing against Dmitry I just think Leb is the far better and tougher fighter. I love watching Kudryashov fights because you know someone is getting spectacularly wrecked, and I really do like him as a fighter but overall I think Leb deserved to be here more.

I think Bellew is a terrible shout, but that's just my opinion. I agree, I think he is barely top 10 if top 10 at all. If he were fighting Dorticos I wouldn't shed a drop of sweat if I put everything I had on Dorticos destroying him.

Well I was literally cracking up at “BROTEN SHAKE”! So I wasn’t mad in the least. I think I will use that to embarrass my buddies while out in public.

“Hey BROTEN SHAKE with the stinky ass Black&Mild! pull your ****ing pants up and tie your shoes! That’s both a safety hazard and unsanitary!”

 

He's also WAY more accomplished than Kudryashov. And Dorticos at least proved that he's more deserving of the spot than Kudra, don't you think?

 

Yeah Leb is tough as nails and still can crack. Would have been entertaining seeing the Gassiev rematch.

 

Not saying that Kudra shouldn't have been in, just that If you want to argue that Lebedev should've been in place of someone, It definetly shouldn't be Dorticos as he proved that he belongs in there more than Kudryashov.

PS: Would've been great to see Lebedev instead of Diablo, but I think he didn't want it himself as he wasn't sure that he'd continue his career long enough to commit to such a tournament.

 

Tabit controlled admittedly faded USS Cunningham and showed composure in not deviating from his plan of out-boxing and out maneuvering him throughout the course of the full ten. Yeah, it wasn't exciting..at all...but it was effective and allowed him to pretty much shut out a guy who has had moments against pretty much everyone he's faced.

His progress is worth charting, though I wonder how many big fights he might get at cruiser given his style.

 

I think, in retrospect, the one fighter I would have been inclined to replace in the cruiser bracket was Perez. Wlod was Gassiev's mandatory, and given his success at the weight probably warranted inclusion.

 

His offense seems to be his defense. A good technical boxer with power, should be able to outbox him easily, or KO him if he doesn't have a good chin.
