Even if Lewis won the hypothetical rematch, Vitalis fans would of clamoured for a rematch, and another and another, until their guy won.

    Lewis TKO6 Vitali.

    Get over it guys

If Lewis was fighting the massively sub standard fighters that Vitali is fighting he could have gone on til 40 too.

It shows the the fighters in Lewis's day were better than modern one because half of them are STILL able to compete with the modern fighters!

McCall, Holyfield, Tua, Grant, Briggs are all still able to make a living in the sport a solid decade after their prime!

making a living and staying competitive are not the same thing.
I'm sure none of them come close to George Foreman coming back and actually winning a belt in the "mighty" HW division of the 90's

Lewis resume trumps Vitalis AND wlads.

    Beat Prime Bruno
    Beat Prime Ruddock
    Beat Prime Briggs
    Beat Prime Morrison
    Beat Prime Mercer
    Beat Prime Tua
Beat (in my opinion) a prime Holyfield.
    Beat Prime Tua
    Beat Prime Botha
    Beat Prime Golota
    Beat Prime Grant
    Beat Prime Vitali
    Beat Prime Rahman

And despite him being considered a "zombie", Tyson was younger than Lewis.

That is INFINITELY better than Vitalis record!

    No doubt..........Lewis RESUME KO1 Vitali's resume.

But Vitali did lose 4 yrs of his prime due to an misdiagnosed back injury. Vitali could easily have added Toney(semiprime)Holy slightly past it, Tyson(past it) Golota(past it) Rahman(prime) Tua(prime) Valuev(prime) and Ruiz(prime) in those 4 yrs emeritus.

Haters gonna hate.....but Lewis was 37 when he unofficially retired after the TKO over Vitali.

Vitali is 40 and still semi prime.
Wlad will be 36, and if somehow beaten before he's 38, no one will ever say he was past prime.

No doubt, dont get me wrong, I think Vitali is a fine fighter and a good champion, its just that some of these uber Klitschko fans go too far sometimes!
