Any real boxing fan knows Wilder has only faced bums and old men in his career. This isn't up to debate. The only people who think Wilder is one of the greatest punchers of all time are the casual fans who believe everything they hear on TV.

Wilder has good wins against Stiverne the first fight, and both Ortiz fights. The rest since he became champion have been decent or poor.

The best fighter Wilder fought he could not KO, and lost against him.

Wilder has never fought the recognised number one in the division.

Wilder might yet prove to be great, but he has to avenge his loss to Fury first, then beat the Ruiz vs Joshua winner.

In other words all of Wilder’s work is still ahead of him.

He also had some help against Duhaupas and Ortiz. So called "brittish stoppages"

Also he has alot of illegal KO's. Backfists and assaults from behind the head etc.

On top of that alot of his "clean" knockouts has happened due to the cumulative effect of illegal shots already damaged the punch resistance of his opposition.

He has that many KO's because he's landing that unstoppable straight right hand.

No other fighter in recent history has come close to Wilder’s cherry picking, low level of opposition. He’s like a home run hitter who only faces batting practice pitching. Lots of guys look good in BP, facing a good pitcher is a different ballgame. Wilder has no interest in that. He’s the poster child for careful matchmaking. Lost to a fat and rusty Fury, to anyone with eyes and an ounce of boxing knowledge. Until he fights real opponents, Wilder is nothing more than a marketing creation and can crusher. We’ve seen him do it 40 times and I don’t expect it to stop any time soon. I don’t like Fury but if they actually fight again as planned, expect him to give Wilder another boxing lesson and easily beat him. Fury is a nut job who clowns around and loses concentration but I think he will be disciplined enough to give Wilder his first L and second boxing lesson.
