I dont know were your getting your info mate but Scott never went out with guys from the guy regularly he had his own core group of mates who he done the majority of his socialising.
The thing is if Scott didnt want to go out with his mates he's only got to say no hasn't he?

Also Scott was a very economical puncher. Always made his punches count with timing and power.

He was like a little bear, massive at the weight, very sturdy and no messing about. I imagine the look on him at staredown gave some wee kids nightmares at night.

I would've given him very little chance against a top drawer technical fighter like J.M.Marquez, but think he was favourite over a similar style fighter in Chi. I thought he was a little better all-round than the equally hard-headed Chi.

Did he ever appear hurt in any of hs fights? I don't remember it.

I think that Scott was hurt against Victor Polo but carried of cant remember if he won that one but like everyone has said Scott was so stubborn to lose . I feel that most opponents tried to fight Scott but Medina just kept boxing him at long range and Scott couldnt get to him but there was no doubt Scott did not look right that night. I think that the media along with Scott camp won with all the talk of Scot size how big and strong he was and that what won Scott a lot of fights he was very fit boxer and he could go at the same pace from the first to the last round maybe stronger after 7/8 rounds . he will go down in the history books as one of Scotland finest boxing champion
and world champion in the sport of boxing

The only other fighter who has blew my brains out making the weight and been huge at the weight in the same way Scot Harrison was is Chris Eubank at SMW...:good

2 colossal men at their respective fighting weights...:deal

I thought I had died and gone to heaven when the rumours were around & the fight & date were on boxrec, but as usual, it never happened.

What about Guzman Billy, by the time they were supposed to fight both guys were having their troubles, just who was to blame for that fight falling through if you dont mind me asking.:good

Very interesting thread, thanks ever so for posting it.

Such a shame for Scott I think I have a little soft spot for him now , but he never done himself any favours.

Willie Limond has that same style of boxing as Scott but that could be down to being trained by Scotts dad and Billy Nelson.

What ever happened to all Scotts money that he made, did it all just go to waste. And has his kids been taken care of with trust funds ect.

    i upped harrison-brodie. :good

got the polo fight to upload soon as well.

did have the mccullough fight until the video machine chewed the tape up a few months back. :patsch

i think the polo fight kinda sums him up. show him something else and he struggled. :!:
