That's why Manny agreed to blood testing right after the fight. Its friggin blood testing right there.

manny thinks blood drawing too close to a fight affects his performance and he has a history to prove it (Pac vs Morales 1). The fighter is telling it as it is, why not take it?

You guys forget that he is still taking random urine tests the entire time.
If his blood was changing, urine would show it. The symptoms are in urine, the actual traces of the drug are in blood.

Everyone is all the sudden writing urine off like it's a dead testing method, stop looking for reasons to blame Manny. Give the dude some credit for once in his life.

This should set the precendent for that exact thing. As a fight fan you all should want and welcome this. Same way testing changed post Balco same way testing should change now. The cleaner the better. This could also be true with the weight penalty manny is trying to enforce. maybe that will set a precedent for fighters to agree to the terms of the fight and do their job and make weight.

Sammy Sosa has failed a drug test (2003). Barry Bonds has failed a test (2000). MLB is actually an interesting example because they've tested for steroids for quite some time now. It's just (until recently) they've never had penalties for it. :patsch So you actually have a good deal of MLB players who have tested positive for steroids but there was no punishment for it.

FLOY is not willing to take the punishment for the sport, like the old school fighters who wore their warrior HEART on their sleeve. This ******* even said in the interview!! "there ain't nuffin cool getting cut, busted open" ffs.You is a fighter. You are a disgrace to the warriors in this SPORT the great ones in this sport. Now you saying you can beat Balcoquio EASY? then back it up.ALI did that and backed up his talk!! you talk and never walk the walk cuzzz!! Like the past greats did, they back it up,in BOXING golden days they fought hard-out against anybody and that's for real. That's why MMA is taking over coz those are real fighters, you a freakin princess!!

fool, read carefully before you reply with twisted rebuttal. I didn't say he lost because to Morales because of blood testing. I said it affected his performance, big difference.

He lost due to combinations of many things and boxers generally dish out excuses if they lost and its normal. it's very rare when you don't.

Anyway, I don't expect you to understand a simple post, you're a simpleton.

Nope. Floyd will require that Manny wear condom on fight night and he promised to wear one too.

How about that for total protection. LOL :rofl

I'm gonna try to reason with you. I hope it works.

If you would just think of it as a way of balancing out things at the negotiation table, it doesn't sound so bad. You can have your small ring, 8 oz gloves, weight penalty clause, and 50/50 split. Just let floyd randomly test you and himself and we'll call it even.* Mosley only took 6 random blood tests. Is that so much to ask for? If you think it is, you condone drug use. Simple as that. Number 3 on your list is pointless because the idea of blood testing is to prevent a disaster from happening. I don't even want to hear about a cutoff date. If you can fight like a man, you can take a blood test like a man. Cutoff dates are for special kids who ride the short bus. Even with that said, I'd pitifully give Manny as much as 5 cutoff days because he just might be the only athlete in history who desperately needs a window. :verysad

*By beating Shane and earning a successful ppv, Floyd has made the offer null and void. Things change. Back then it was a very fair deal. Now floyd wants a lopsided deal and I don't blame him. You let him surpass you then you'll have to pay the price. Either that or quietly walk away to do business with someone else. I hear Margarito and Morales are squealing like eager beavers somewhere.

Joke and cynicism aside I think we can all agree that there's life outside of Floyd and Pac. That is unless you're a casual fan.

First of all they don't use a urine test that can detect HGH, you also seem to be suggesting that Pacquiao would be offering set testing days rather than random which would make the whole blood testing pretty pointless.

What about random blood test with a 14 day cut off ?

And one more blood test 1 week before the fight but, not random.
