Floyd (And his history shows this) only fought top guys when they were war worn, green or out of their primes. Manny whoops top guys in their primes at 40!!! It’s just so amazing, scintillating and IRREFUTABLE. You have to just admit it and accept it. It’s a fact.

 

I like Class, Offense AND defense in a fighter. That’s why Loma and Usyk are two of my favs. Manny has underrated defense and he is an offensive machine. Just a tremendous boxer. Class act too.

Thurman isn't a good fighter. Floyd also beat Canelo Alvarez, Cotto, Demarcus Corley when he was 28-2, Victoriano Sosa when he was 35-2, Jesus Chavez when he was 35-1. Angel Manfredy when he was 25-2, Phillip Ndou when he was 31-1, Sharmba Mitchell when he was 56-4, Robert Guerrero 31-1, Marcos Maidana. But yeah Pac fought better people.

The fight that FlIVd agreed to a catch weight then violated it against a natural 135lber he made come up to 144lbs? Thats a good win but come on man. Styles also make fights. Marquez had to be the aggressor because FlIVd wouldn't engage and that is not Marques style. Hes a counter puncher. Manny easily has the better resume come on man!

Its pretty clear at this point Pacquiao is the greatest fighter of his era. Best resume and better achievements than anyone else. Incredible fighter.

Pacquiao fighting at 147 is like Mayweather fighting at 154. Mayweather had above average length for the weight class. It's simple to see Pac as having the better p4p ranking when you realize that he beats on men while having both a height and reach disadvantage. Meanwhile Floyd is average height at 147 and only 2 of his opponents (McGregor and De la Hoya) had slightly longer reach than him.

I like Floyd and definitely respect his skill. My only takeaway is that the marquez fight; he was way too big for marquez to do anything. Big skilled fighter>smaller skilled fighter.
