Scorecards for Bivol vs Beterbiev

I honestly don't know what people are watching when they score this fight a draw Beterbiev was far less effective in the rematch. Infact this was a repeat of the 1st fight with Bivol outboxing Beterbiev except this time Beterbiev didn't have a late rally in the championship rounds.

Bivol won both fights.

For this particular fight, I had Bivol up early 2 rounds, I think I gave Artur the 3rd. 4th could've gone either way. Artur came on strong landing some heavy shots and controlling the pace in the 5th-6th rounds. 7th was kinda close, maybe. 8-10 was all Bivol, he had figured out Artur's timing and range and was gliding out the way beautifully anytime he landed a combination before Artur could retaliate. Round 11, possibly Bivol as well. Round 12 Artur, he tried to go for broke, cornered Bivol, and did some damage with power punches upstairs and downstairs.

So my scoring was roughly 6-2-4 or so in favor of Bivol, who could've gotten the benefit of the doubt for one of those swing rounds.

There is absolutely no way you can score for Artur if you simply watch who was controlling the pace and landing more with better defense and ring awareness. At best, Artur won maybe 4-5 rounds. A draw is inconceivable and I'm sick of these sanctioning bodies installing judges who try to rig an even fight to force a rematch. Artur just couldn't cut the ring off effectively past the 5th, started to fade late, had leaky defense, and his right hand was M.I.A for several rounds not even being thrown that often for some reason.

I scored it 115-113 or 116-112 for Bivol.

 

I actually had it 6-6.. I think the rounds swung back and forth but for me Bivol had the more standout moments and didn't wilt like last time so it was the right decision. Came of age last night. Whereas Beterbiev is slowly showing his. Canelo, Beterbiev, Zurdo. What a fighter. HOF secure already.

Yes I agree. For me the fight momentum changed decisively in round 7 in Bivol’s favour after Beterbiev had swept rounds 4,5 and 6 clearly. He did more this time and maintained the pace.

 

Can you imagine if Beterbiev was 34 and Bivol was 40? Beterbiev is special.

12. Bivol (this is the swing round in my view. Gave it to Beterbiev last night but just rewatched the fight and I think Bivol landed more and got the cleaner shots off. Beterbiev was busy but not much of it landed.)

116 - 112 Bivol. I thought Bivol clearly won the first fight, if anything this was more competitive than that one, especially that stretch in the middle where I really thought Bivol was going to go down. But Beterbiev just can't land enough on Bivol, most of his shots miss or are on the gloves. Two great fights and both are ATGs, Bivol has won this rivalry tho.

Bivol held his ground and at first it seemed like a bad idea as beterbiev was taking control and then bivol began to block beterbievs shots and fire back. Bivol sat down more and kept the punch activity there without draining the energy by moving too much. Beterbiev seemed unable to mount an attack for a large part of the fight until round 12

 

Beterbiev fans score punching people in the arms, we learned this last time.

 

What about scoring on Bivol's face in both fights? Or did I imagine those marks and cuts on Bivol's face?
