    Marquez v Pacquiao
    10-9 body counters from JMM
10-9 flurry with 30 secs to go from PAC but that's all
    10-9 superb counters JMM
10-9 could have gone to PAC on workrate though! Good end for Marquez rocked manny
10-9 its a shut out great counter combos an uppercut one flurry from PAC
9-10 finally PAC opens up with some combos
10-9 manny is missing all night and Marquez counters beautifully
10-9 PAC steps it up but doesn't do enough to win the round
9-10 What a round though could have scored it either way!
    9-10 Marquez getting tired*
    10-9 both tired Marquez counters
    10-9 boxing lesson

    117-111

Robbery isn't the word and a massive PAC fan! I'm gutted for JMM

Well, interestingly, rounds 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 were scored in the same fashion by all the judges, they gave 1,3 and 6 to Pac, 4,5 and 7 to Marquez. This seems to be more or less fair.

However, from round 8 on, things start to become messy. For some reason, majority of judges gave round 8 and 10 to Pac, whereas those rounds were pretty clear Marquez rounds.

These scorecard however do not look biased, for instance Moretti gave Marquez many early rounds, while it could easily be argued that Pac dominated the first 3-4 rounds.

    Very odd.

why? so jmm actually dominated the first few rounds and last few rounds? i cannot remember him doing that. in fact, jmm actually faded in the last couple of rounds when i saw the replay.

nice summary. so over-all three judges gave 3 rounds each for pac and jmm and the remaining rounds are split.

I had this fight a draw 6-6 and maybe 7-5 to Marquez. No way did Manny win this fight. I felt Marquez control the fight more than Manny, the pace, counter the **** out of Manny, landed the more effective punches and those lovely body shots and Ledderman makes me laugh saying Manny was the aggressor. Being the aggressor doesnt mean anything if you keep on getting hit with shots and not landing anything meaningful or getting your ass counter.
