    114 - 112 Mayorga, but I have a feeling I'd give him the 3rd if I watched it again. I gave him 1,2, 7, 8, 11, and 12. The KD's won it.

I wasn't scoring it because I thought there was no way it could go the distance, but it's obvious the judge who had it a draw must be blind. He couldn't have been paid off to score the fight to favor Vargas because he has no future anyways, so it's obvious he just reacted to the fans cheering for Fernando and scored it like a moron.

    Rounds 1,2,3,7,8,11,and 12 for Mayorga.

Rounds 4,5,9, and 10 for Vargas.

    Round 6 I had even!

With the two knockdowns 116-111 Mayorga!

It looked early like Vargas would get blown away.

Quite frankly, Vargas looked bloated and slow!
Correction, Vargas was bloated and slow!

I got to hand it to Fernando Vargas though, his skill and guile made the fight competitive all the way through.

Really what we saw in Vargas was a shot fighter who's pride rode him all the way through, along the way fighting with heart and guile!

Its always sad to see such a great competitor like Vargas come out on the losing end, especially against a vulgar loud mouth like Mayorga.

......but you know, sure Vargas was dissapointed.....
....but I thought at the end of the night, he looked content that he left it all in the ring.
When Vargas said, you've seen me in a ring for the last time.....his eyes said it all....he said it with pride, and I believe he meant it!

Vargas accepted it with class, and to see the fans at Staples center cheer him as he was saying goodbye, was a fitting end to a fighter who always cared and fought for the fans!

Good luck in whatever you do Feroz, and may God bless you and your family!
