Scorecards Were Poor, But the Right Man Won

    It's that simple. Parker only clearly won a couple of rounds and nicked a couple of others on my scorecard, but even he would have known beforehand that he had to do more to earn those rounds from the judges in an 80,000-strong hostile stadium.

    Parker much better than I thought he was. I reckon he'd beat Wilder, for all that's worth.


    As for the Ref, he wasn't great, but I think after he jumped in incorrectly that first time it seemed everyone complained every time he even correctly split the fighters ie when Joshua had Parker in a headlock. A couple of times he went in too early apart, I'd rather a ref broke them early than rewatch a Wlad hug-fest - which is what everyone would have been complaining about if he did the opposite.
