Pavlik wasnt blocking most of em. In round 5 or 6 Taylor unleashed on him and you can hear really hear the impact of the shots. And I think in Round 6 when Pavlik backed Taylor to the ropes, JT countered with a 1-2 that landed flush on Pavlik.
****, I'm watching it again and Stewart starts out telling Taylor he lost the first round. 10-8 Taylor second. Pavlik 10-9 third. Don't see how it can go any other way.
No, he wasn't. Neither man was "clearly" winning. It was a 1 point fight either way and any good boxing fan knows that. :yep
Wow. How anyone had Taylor winning the 4th, 5th and 6th rounds is beyond me. Completely beyond me. Pavlik out jabbed him, landed more power shots and was clearly the aggressor in all of those rounds.
This is possible. Round 4 was close. I gave it to Pavlik. It was a good battle. Larry Merchant said it best. One guy got up, the other did not.
I thought it was a 1pt fight to and the 4th round was close and I gave it to Pavlik. So I could see the 3 pt advantage if you gave the 4th round to Taylor. 1. Pavlik 2. Taylor - KD 3. Pavlik 4. Pavlik 5. Taylor 6. Taylor
:huh before you start criticising, you should really learn how to score a round in boxing. i've had years of experience judging fights and have no favourite between either fighter. i had it: rd 1 pavlik 10-9 rd 2 taylor 10-8 rd 3 pavlik 10-9 rd 4 taylor 10-9 rd 5 taylor 10-9 rd 6 taylor 10-9 that's taylor 58-55, a three point spread for taylor. rounds 4 to 6 were all close, but taylor's work was clearly the more effective: as evidenced by the official scorecards. you should stop letting your personal bias cloud your judgement and learn how to score a fight before deciding who is allowed to be a boxing fan.
on top of that did u guys see the compubox PURE PLAIN BULL**** AGAIN, just like in the DLH-Mayweeather fight where they gave ridicusly more shots to mayweather then their actualy were.
WTF fight were you watching. Every round was close but that 2nd round. I gave 1, 2 for damned sure, and 6 to taylor 3 and 4 was Pavliks 5 was even. Taylor up....period.
Sounds like folk go by the bull**** lederman card around here Going by his card Pavlik was up. But he gave no even rounds. And if any fight had some debatable even rounds this ****ing fight did. Pavlik did not connect that much early at all his jab didnt get going until around the 3rd round. 1st round went to JT easy.
